Job Title: Registered Nurse - Long Term Care (RN LTC)
Job Summary:
As a Registered Nurse in Long Term Care (LTC), you will be responsible for providing compassionate and quality care to residents in long term care facilities. You will work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure the physical, emotional, and social well-being of residents.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the care of residents in LTC facilities.
2. Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
3. Monitoring and reporting changes in residents' condition to the healthcare team.
4. Educating residents and their families on healthcare needs and interventions.
5. Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to develop care plans for residents.
6. Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and policies.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Valid RN license in the state of practice and BLS Required.
2. Minimum of one year of experience in long term care or a related setting.
3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment.
5. Knowledge of nursing practices and procedures in long term care.
